The moral of the story is that you should keep your private pictures out of public and off storage devices that are easy to leave places. After a man accidentally, we hope, left his cell phone at a McDonalds with naked pictures of his wife on it, he found then found the pictures online. Now the man and his wife are sueing the local franchise owner and manager.
The suit was filed Friday and seeks a jury trial and $3 million in damages for suffering, embarrassment and the cost of having to move to a new home.
The suit says Phillip Sherman left the phone at the Fayetteville restaurant in July and that employees promised to secure it until he returned.
Manager Aaron Brummley declined to comment, and other company officials didn’t return messages.
