London Based law firm Charles Russell has just announced plans to cut its two-week summer vacation plans in half in an effort to cut costs.
Julia Dalton, HR and development manager, said that the changes will still allow for the regular eight candidates to engage in the two placements.
“We’re confident that during a week with us, candidates will be kept busy and will gain a good insight into Charles Russell and similarly we think we shall be able to make a good assessment of their abilities in that time.”
Also recently, the firm has given its staff an option of a four-day work week after holding redundancy consultations with several unnamed staff.
