Before serving as deputy counsel to President George W. Bush, Burck, 37, also served as a legal adviser to Assistant Attorney General Alice Fisher in the Criminal Division at the Department of Justice. Before that he was deputy staff secretary at the White House.
Before joining the US Attorney’s Office in March 2003, Burck was an associate at Sullivan & Cromwell in New York.
Burck received his bachelor’s degree from Yale University and his JD from Yale Law School.
