Microsoft will soon be releasing its new operating system, Windows 7. To handle any regulatory issues that may arise with the release of the software, Microsoft is looking to hire an experienced antitrust lawyer.
According to an ad placed at a Washington state job bank, the company seeks an attorney that can to “analyze and address complex legal, business, and strategic issues affecting Microsoft products and services.”
“These issues typically include antitrust and regulatory compliance, general commercial law, contracts, intellectual property and licensing, and marketing & communications,” the ad says. “”This attorney must help provide front-line transactional support for [Microsoft’s Windows Experience Group’s] business and technology initiatives related to Windows 7, including user interface, music and video media, desktop and graphics, and accessibility”
The ad was placed on February 27. It indicates that the position closes on August 26, 2009.
