The office is the 32nd location of the biglaw firm, which has been doing work in the Middle East more than 20 years. The six-lawyer office will focus on energy, finance, arbitration and merger-and-acquisition work.
The partner in charge will come from London, as will two other attorneys. Others will come from Washington, DC, and local Dubai firms.
Jones Day also opened an office in Mexico City earlier this year.
