Shoosmiths, which in April asked its 2009 trainees to withdraw from their contract, or defer until 2011, without any financial compensation, has today announced a redundancy consultation targeting 69 jobs.
The firm is looking to cut 25 lawyers, including partners, and 44 support staffers, across the firm.
Shoosmiths is of the UK’s largest law firms, with 8 offices, 119 partners and more than 1300 personnel.
