The speculation is over. Mark Kirsch, former head of Clifford Chance ’s US litigation practice, has landed at Gibson Dunn & Crutcher, bringing along Joel Cohen and Christopher Joralemon.
Kirsch joins Gibson Dunn as co-chair of its more than 500-lawyer Litigation Practice Group. Kirsch joined Clifford Chance in 1995, most recently serving as Global Chair of the Litigation Practice and a member of the firmwide Global Management Committee. He graduated from Yale University Law School.
Cohen was head of Clifford Chance’s US Litigation & Dispute Resolution Practice. Before that he practiced at Greenberg Traurig. He graduated in 1988 from Duke University School of Law.
Joralemon graduated magna cum laude from Boston University School of Law, where he served as Editor of the Boston University Law Review.
Gibson Dunn has approximately 1,000 lawyers and 15 offices, including Los Angeles, New York, Washington DC, London, Paris, Munich, Brussels, Dubai, Singapore, Orange County, San Francisco, Palo Alto, Century City, Dallas and Denver.
