Kaye Scholer is cutting pay for associates who bill under 1,600 hours this year.
First- and second-years who aren’t on track to meet 1,600 hours this year will have their salary cut 20% for the rest of the year. Third-year associates will lose 15%.
If associates hit 1,600 hours before the end of the year, their pay will be restored.
