Akerman Senterfitt Hires 5 for Health Care Practice

Florida’s Akerman Senterfitt has brought on five new lawyers for its health care practice.

Shareholders Bill Crenshaw and Ralph Caccia, and consultant Thomas Donnelly who have joined Akerman’s Washington, DC office. Caccia will serve as co-chair of Akerman’s White Collar Crime and Government Investigations practice.

Anne McGihon joins as of counsel at Akerman’s Denver office. She is a former member of the Colorado General Assembly, and was chair of the Health and Human Services Committee.

Julie Gallagher joins the firm as of counsel in Tallahassee, Florida. She was previously General Counsel for the Florida Agency for Healthcare Administration.

Akerman Senterfitt was founded in 1920, and has grown to become one of the largest law firms in the United States. In 2008, the National Law Journal ranked the firm as 92nd largest in the US by number of attorneys, and the second-largest Florida-based firm.
