Legal Week Intelligence’s 2009 Employee Satisfaction Survey questioned more than 4,000 associates at the top 75 law firms in England and Wales, and at the top 10 US firms in London.
Slaughter operates on a bonus plan based on salary, without any billable hours targets. The firm paid out a firmwide bonus of 10% of base salary in November 2008.
Not a single Slaughter associate surveys is looking for another job; at Magic Circle firms, an average of 10% are looking for different work.
The other top firms were CMS Cameron McKenna, Dewey & LeBoeuf and Weil Gotshal & Manges.
