A Scottish employment tribunal has awarded £20,000 in compensation to two former staffers at Garden Stirling.
The tribunal rejected claims made by 56-year-old paralegal assistant Linda Bruce, and 52-year-old financial adviser Anne Crawford, that age discrimination played a part in their firings.
But the tribunal agreed that Crawford was not offered outplacement, and that Bruce was unfairly selected for redundancy.
Bruce of was awarded £19,688 ($33,000), and Crawford was awarded £1,782 ($3,000).
