Bowman & Brooke, a national law firm known for defending companies in product liability cases, is opening its seventh office in Columbia, South Carolina. The office, which opens December 1st, will be led by new partner Joel Smith. Smith, along with three other partners, is moving from Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough LLP. The foursome, consisting of Smith, Pamela Roberts, Richard Willis and Courtney Shytle will “will help grow Bowman and Brooke’s practice in the areas of automotive and pharmaceutical/medical device product liability defense, as well as commercial and business-related litigation”, according to a press release from the firm.
