Yesterday William Kahn was an associate at Hogan & Hartson, or an associate at what will soon be Hogan Lovells. Today Kahn is a partner at Seyfarth Shaw. With firms cutting back on partnership promotions, who wouldn’t want to make that kind of leap?
Kahn has a mergers and acquisitions practice focusing on cross border mergers for both US and Foreign companies. He says the move is unreleated to the pending Hogan Lovells merger. He was attracted to Seyfarth Shaw because the firm offers “more transparency and predictability†in billing rates and cost predictability is important to his clients.
Chicago’s Seyfarth Shaw LLP is a full-service law firm founded in 1945. It has ten offices, nine of which are in the United States. The firm is well known for its labor and employment, employee benefits, litigation and business services.
