Gibson Dunn Launches E-Discovery Practice

Gibson Dunn & Crutcher has launched a new practice group to handle issues relating to electronic discovery, information law, and records management. The firm will be co-chaired by partners Gareth Evans in Los Angeles, Charles Nierlich in San Francisco, Jennifer Rearden in New York and Sean Royall in Dallas. Farrah Pepper, the group’s vice chair, has been promoted to of counsel in New York. She previously led Gibson Dunn’s Electronic Data Discovery Initiative.

In a press release issued today, Ken Doran, Managing Partner of Gibson Dunn said “The volume of electronically stored information is increasing exponentially, along with the costs associated with preserving and producing it. With the increase in e-discovery concerns from our clients, we found the need to formalize the Firm’s e-discovery group to better communicate our expertise in this fast-growing field”.

Gibson Dunn & Crutcher has approximately 1,000 lawyers and 16 offices, including Los Angeles, New York, Washington DC, London, Paris, Munich, Brussels, Dubai, Singapore, Orange County, San Francisco, Palo Alto, Century City, Dallas and Denver.
