CT TyMetrix, a provider of Web-based legal management solutions, has come up with a list of what it says are key trends that will impact the legal industry in 2010. Unveiled in a press release Monday, the report lists seven areas that will key market growth this year.
They include: “The Rise of the Corporate Law Department”; the “Re-tooling of Big Law”; “Globalization of Corporate Law”; “Acceptance of BI and Predictive Modeling”; “Unified Platform Management”; “Adoption of New AFA’s”; and ‘Convergence 2.0″.
“2010 will be a big game-changing year for the legal industry with technology coming to the forefront and empowering corporate legal departments to maximize operational efficiencies and spend,” said John C. Weber, general manager of CT TyMetrix.
