Neil Upton will join Greenberg Traurig Maher LLP as the head of its UK Energy Practice. Upton comes to Greenberg Traurig from DLA Piper, where he was partner and Global Head of the Energy group, a practice that he built from scratch. Upton specializes in the power sector, including generation projects (renewable, gas, coal, and nuclear), distribution, transmission and energy retailing. He is rated one of the Top Four Energy Lawyers in the UK and rated as a leading project finance specialist. Upton will join Greenberg Traurig’s Energy and Natural Resources Group.
