Clyde & Co, a UK firm based in London, has opened its third US office in New Jersey. The firm, the 17th largest in the UK, already has offices in New York and San Francisco. It will temporarily operate out of Short Hills, NJ, while it looks for a permanent location.
The office is being opened with five attorneys moving from Connell Foley. Daren McNally, who was chair of the insurance coverage practice group at Connell Foley, will be joined by partner Barbara Almeida, and associates Matthew Gennaro, Meghan Goodwin, and Neha Bansal.
Clyde & Co is a leading international law firm with over 1300 staff based in 23 offices worldwide. The firm traces its history back to a single London office in 1933 that was partially destroyed by bombs during World War 2.
