Arent Fox LLP has added six attorneys to its automotive practice in Los Angeles. Aaron H. Jacoby, John D. Bronstein and Richard D. Buckley Jr. have been added as partners. Kenneth Murphy joins as counsel, while Victor P. Danhi and Melanie S. Joo join as associates. All six come from Venable LLP , where they held the same positions.
Jacoby served as chair of Venable’s automotive group and will co-chair Arent Fox’s practice along with Christopher H. Grigorian, who resides in Washington D.C.
In a press release, Arent Fox Chairman Marc Fleischaker said the automotive industry “is in rapid transformation, as alternative technologies and new dealer distribution networks are emerging. We are well positioned to assist our clients in meeting the resulting challenges.â€
The additions to Arent Fox are the latest in the rapid expansion of the firm’s Los Angeles office. There are now more than 40 attorneys working out of the office after opening in January 2007 with just nine.
Arent Fox also has offices in Washington D.C. and New York and has more than 350 lawyers nationwide.
