Revenue & Profits Down at Mayer Brown

Revenues decreased at Mayer Brown in 2009 by 14%, from $1.294 billion in 2008 to $1.118 billion last year. Profits decreased as the firm’s net income decreased by almost 19%. Profits per equity partner decreased 4% from $1.11 million to $1.06 million. Revenues per lawyer also decreased to $670,000 from $720,000 in 2008. The firm reduced its equity partner head count to 274 (down by 50). Nonequity partners increased from 330 to 355.
