Karen J. Kominsky, who has held several high-profile positions in the New Jersey public sector, has joined Cozen O’Connor as a member of its public strategies group. Kominsky previously served as deputy chief of staff under two New Jersey governors and most recently was the founder of grassroots advocacy firm ADV Group LLC.
Kominsky served as deputy chief of staff from December 2002 until January 2006. During that time she guided the passage of several high-profile pieces of legislation for the state, including automobile insurance reform, the Domestic Partnership Act, and a stem-cell research initiative.
During her time in state government, Kominsky specialized in land use and environmental issues.
Cozen O’Connor’s public strategies group has offices in Trenton N.J., Harrisburg, Pa. and Washington D.C. and includes several former government officials.
