Thomson Reuters recently listed Cozen O’Connor as the number two bond counsel firm in Pennsylvania for 2009. To date, this is the firm’s highest bond counsel ranking. For the second year in a row, the firm was also ranked as the number one underwriter’s counsel in New Jersey.
In the article posted today at PR Newswire, Suzanne Mayes, co-chair of the public and project finance practice was quoted as saying: “These rankings highlight the strength of our practice and the caliber of the deals we handle for clients on both sides of the table. While the bond market floundered a bit in the beginning of 2009, the balance of the year yielded new issuance opportunities under the federal stimulus package. We were well-versed in those innovative financing techniques and able to help clients effectively utilize those programs.”
