Fish & Richardson is adding five lawyers from the recently dissolved IPÂ boutique Darby & Darby, including its managing partner, Robert C. Sullivan.
In addition to Sullivan, Fish & Richardson is bringing on S. Peter Ludwig, Irina Vanberg, Mitchell Bernstein and Samuel Woodley. Patent agent Anna Tan is also joining the firm.
The New York Law Journal reports the new lawyers have yet to receive titles and that a vote for admitting the new partners is being arranged.
Darby & Darby announced Friday it was closing its doors after more than 100 years. The firm was dissolved after it was unable to reach a merger deal.
Fish & Richardson has more than 400 lawyers with 11 offices in the United States and Germany.
