Ogletree Deakins is opening a new office in Minneapolis April 1 with three new shareholders.
The new office will be the firm’s 39th in the United States. Cynthia Bremer, formerly of Fulbright & Jaworski’s Minneapolis office, will serve as managing shareholder of the office, according to the Twin Cities Business Journal. She will be joined by shareholders Patrick Martin, also formerly of Fulbright, and Hal Shillingstad of Flynn Gaskins & Barnett in Minneapolis.
Already this year the firm opened a Las Vegas office in January, a Denver office in February and an office in Orange County, Calif. earlier this month. Ogletree Deakins has more than 450 attorneys practicing in the U.S.
Bremer told the Twin Cities Business Journal the firm is currently working out of a temporary space in Minneapolis but are awaiting a 6,000-square-foot space to open up that is in excess of current staffing levels.
