According to the April 7 article at bizjournals.com, in a statement, Jeff Sherrin, president of the O’Connell firm, was quoted as saying: “The Saratoga location will provide more convenient service for upstate clients. It will also help O’Connell better tap into that market.”
In the same article, Matthew Dorsey, head of Dorsey, was quoted as saying: “We’ll bring a new group of clients to their business, and they’ll bring to our business a new group of specialties. Both sides are very optimistic.”
O’Connell and Aronowitz opened its doors with two attorneys in 1925. Since that time, the firm has grown to over 30 attorneys and is one of the Capital Region’s largest full service firms, with offices in both Albany and Plattsburgh. The attorneys provide their clients with representation and services in a broad range of disciplines and practice areas, including civil, commercial and employment litigation, elder law, and lead poisoning and environmental injury.
Formed in the 1920s, the Dorsey Law Firm concentrates on elder law and estate planning.
