McKeon, Meunier, Carlin & Curfman, LLC launched in Atlanta on Monday, April 19, 2010. Attorneys from top Atlanta firms formed the firm, which will focus solely on intellectual property law.
The four founders are Tina McKeon, Ph.D. and Andrew Meunier from the Atlanta office of Fish & Richardson, an international IP law firm; Christopher Curfman, Ph.D. from the Atlanta office of Ballard Spahr, and Gregory Carlin, who joins the firm from Edwards Lifesciences, a medical device maker in Southern California.
According to the press release at the firm’s website, Dr. Tina McKeon was quoted as saying: “I am pleased to be stepping into a small firm with such an elite team. We have had a great response so far from clients who seem eager for an alternative to big-firm IP law but who still want and need quality legal work.”
