Per Globe Newswire, the Brualdi Law Firm has filed a class action suit against Pfizer in the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York. The suit has been filed on behalf of all Pfizer shareholders who purchased stock between late July 2005 and mid-January 2009.
The suit charges Pfizer with violations of the Federal Securities and Exchange Act. The crux of the suit is that Pfizer falsely marketed or promoted a varied series of drugs and failed to notify shareholders of the purported tortious conduct.
