A Federal judge has appointed Steve Berman, managing partner of Hagens Berman, as co-lead counsel in the current class action pending in the Central District of California against Toyota. The class action is potentially one of the largest in US history and stems from the various product defects discovered in Toyota automobiles in the last several months.
More than 70 law firms, according to Businesswire, applied for the job.
