In legal technology news, Business Wire is reporting that Anaqua has released a new software package to help IP firms manage the intellectual assets of their clients.
Anaqua Essential is a retooling of the company’s Enterprise software. Enterprise, though designed for corporate IP management, was already in use at many IP law firms. Essential, however, is specifically designed for legal practices with significant patent and/or trademark work. The product has features such as docketing utilities and integrated document management.
Anaqua Inc., a Boston based company, was formed in 2004 to focus on enterprise infrastructure and developed the world’s first comprehensive software solution for intellectual asset management (IAM). In 2010, Anaqua merged with SGA² to add high quality, cost effective IP maintenance services and expanded its solutions to address the needs of IP law firms.
