Bloomberg Newsweek: The president intends to nominate Bryan Cave partner James Cole for the second spot at the Justice Department. In addition to his work at Bryan Cave, Cole has served as an independent monitor of AIG, and was also a former Justice Department prosecutor. At the JD, Cole was deputy chief of the public integrity section. In private practice he has focused his practice on regulatory, securities, and criminal law.
If his nomination is confirmed by the senate, Mr. Cole will be replacing David Ogden who, Newsweek reports, is returning to the private sector.
Bryan Cave is an international general practice law firm with 25 offices nationwide. The firm was founded in 1873 and has approximately 1,200 attorneys.
