Chicago Breaking Business: Five partners have left Neal Gerber & Eisenberg to start their own boutique law firm. The new practice will focus exclusively on counseling trade associations, charitable groups and other non-profits. The official launch is tomorrow.
The new firm is led by Jed Mandel, who chaired Neal Gerber’s non-profit consulting practice group.
Clients’ bottom line was cited as one motive for the split. Mandel also stated that a smaller firm dedicated to one area of practice would be more efficient in handling clients’ needs.
