Today, Littler Mendelson announced that it would open its forty-ninth office and that that office would be located in Anchorage Alaska, says BusinessWire. Alaska’s own Doug Parker, a Littler shareholder, will head the enterprise. Parker joined the firm in 2007 and prior to that practiced exclusively in Alaska, representing a broad range of Alaska businesses. At Littler, he has had extensive experience working, in the Pacific Northwest and Alaska, on matters ranging from traditional labor relations to wrongful termination suits.
Littler Mendelson, founded in 1942, is the largest U.S. based law firm exclusively dedicated to employment and labor law matters. Headquartered in San Francisco, California, the firm has 750 attorneys in 48 offices nationwide.
