Dewey And LeBouef Files Amicus Brief On Behalf Mexico

Dewey and LeBouef‘s D.C. office has filed a friend of the court brief on behalf of the Mexican government, reports the site Yesbuthowever.com.  The brief is filed in support of a suit brought by the U.S. Department of Justice against the State of Arizona that questions State Bill 1070, which allows law enforcement officials to demand proof of citizenship from anyone they suspect is in the country illegally.  The recently passed bill substantially affects Mexico and its citizens.  The amicus brief is one of many filed in the in the suit, including one filed by Arizona Attorney General, Albert M. Flores.
