Poor Lindsay Lohan. It’s a cruel cruel world out there, and it’s out to get her. After being sentenced to 90 days in jail for violating her probation stemming from a drunk driving arrest, Lohan has gone an a rant comparing her case to human rights violations around the world and vowing to appeal. Among other things she’s compared her case to that of an Iranian woman stoned to death for committing adultery. Unfortunately for Lohan, she’ll have to do it without the help of her lawyer. Shawn Chapman Holley, an experienced celebrity lawyer who has represented Paris Hilton and was part of the OJ Simpson team, has quit. According the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s office, Lohan has now retained the services of Tiffany Feder-Cohen.
Feder-Cohen is not quite as experienced as Holley. She was admitted to the California bar in November after graduating from University of West Los Angeles School of Law – San Fernando Valley Campus. If you are unfamiliar with the school, it’s no surprise. It’s one of many “non traditional” law schools that is not not accredited by the ABA, although it is approved by the State Bar of California.
