Locke Lord Bissell & Liddell has promoted partner Jennifer Kenedy to managing partner of its Chicago office. Kenedy replaces former managing partner Larry Gray, who died of a heart attack on July 19.
Kenedy, a nearly 20-year veteran of the firm who also co-chair’s Locke Lord’s board of director’s, is the first woman to lead Locke Lord’s 123-attorney strong Chicago office. She will remain a fulltime practicing trial lawyer in her new role, according to National Law Journal. Kenedy’s practice focuses on commercial litigation, including trade secret misappropriation and other intellectual property litigation, employment and distributorship contractual disputes,
