Michigan Lawyers Weekly recently honored Phyllis Golden Morey, shareholder and chief diversity officer of Brooks Kushman law firm, among “2010 Women in Law.”
“It’s a great honor to be celebrated among such remarkable women,” says Morey, “As strong females in the legal community, we need to stand together as positive role models for our aspiring legal professionals. The ‘Women in the Law’ event is a great platform to highlight some of the accomplished, female legal professionals our local community has fostered.”
Brooks Kushman, P.C. has over 25 years of experience helping to enhance and to protect clients’ business and commercial interests. They also focus on client property rights in ideas and innovations. Morey is located at the firm’s Detroit office and has more than 20 years experience in commercial litigation. She is the head of Brooks Kushman’s Commercial Litigation and Compliance practice groups. Morey deals in copyright infringment, representing clients’ rights to their patents.
