As First Assistant U.S. Attorney, Anderson had responsibility for criminal, civil and tax matters on behalf of the United States in the Northern District of California. He personally tried two of the most high-profile criminal securities fraud cases in the District in the past decade, United States v. Gregory L. Reyes, and United States v. Charles W. McCall.
Before joining the United States Attorney’s Office in 2008, Anderson built a successful white collar practice and served as managing partner of an international law firm’s San Francisco office, where he focused on board-level representations of individuals, audit committees and public companies in criminal, SEC and internal investigations.
