Chadbourne & Parke LLP today announced that Marek Krol, a top Polish banking and finance attorney, has joined the firm as an international partner in the firm’s Warsaw office.
Most recently, Mr. Krol was a partner at CMS Cameron McKenna, where he served as head of the banking and finance department. Previously, he led the structured finance department at White & Case.
Mr. Krol advises clients on a broad scope of banking and finance transactions, including project financing, real estate investments, and syndicated loans. He has extensive experience advising on real estate finance projects involving hotels, office buildings and commercial and recreational centers.
Previously, Mr. Krol worked for the Polish government in the legal department of the Ministry of Foreign Economic Cooperation, the Ministry of Foreign Trade and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. He also served at KPMG Poland and as legal director in a major Polish bank. There he advised on the formation of bank syndicates financing some of the largest investment projects in Poland.
