Law Students at Wake Forest University in North Carolina have delved into an investigation regarding a twice-convicted murderer in South Carolina.

John Boyd Frazier Jr. is currently serving a 30-year prison sentence for the 1998 killing of 24-year-old William Brent Poole. Frazier was convicted of shooting Poole twice in the head while he was out walking with his wife, and Frazier’s lover, Kimberly Poole.

The students will work with the Wake Forest University Innocence and Justice Clinic, in order to study the case and Frazier’s claim that he is innocent.
