Greenberg Traurig shareholder William R. Clayton has been chosen for fellowship in the Litigation Counsel of America, an honor that the firm said is limited to less than one-half of one percent of American lawyers.
Clayton has been in the firm’s Fort Lauderdale office since 2004. A litigator, Clayton maintains a national civil trial practice that has tried more than 100 cases in state and federal courts. He concentrates his practice in the area of complex commercial litigation and is frequently retained as lead trial counsel by NYSE and NASDAQ companies.
He serves as co-chair of the real estate litigation practice group for the firm.
Fellowship in the LCA is by invitation only and is based on excellence and accomplishment in litigation and superior ethical reputation. The LCA anticipates that Florida’s LCA Fellow delegation will include approximately 189 lawyers, judges and/or law professors.
Greenberg Traurig has approximately 1,800 attorneys and more than 30 offices in the United States, Europe and Asia.
