Koda, a Japanese authority on US patent law who has written 15 books and over 150 articles, opened Quinn Emmanuel’s Tokyo office and is now Manager of the Tokyo Intellectual Property Group at DLA Piper. His practice focuses on patent litigation/prosecution, and includes all aspects of international trade practice and high technology patent practice.
William L. Androlia was previously an electronic engineer working on communication satellites and deep space vehicles at Philco-Ford Space and Reentry Systems. He also served as an officer in the US Army Signal Corps and worked on the General Staff at Redstone Arsenal managing Army Missile Systems. Androlia is an adjunct professor of US patent law at Pepperdine University Law School. He is a member of the American Bar Association, the Los Angeles County Patent Law Association and the US Patent Bar. He is also admitted to practice before the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals and the United States Supreme Court.
