The three lawyers, William H. Fuller III, M. Bryant Gatrell and Ronald S. Lovelace, all join from Moore & Van Allen.
They specialize in advising banks and other lenders in a variety of complex financing transactions. They also have strong ties to several long-time King & Spalding clients. They will be resident in the firm’s Charlotte office.
In the press release at the firm’s site, Robert S. Finley, leader of King & Spalding’s finance practice was quoted as saying: “Bill, Bryant and Ron are widely recognized lawyers whose deep experience and exceptional skill sets are extraordinarily well-aligned with the interests and needs of our clients in key financial centers, including New York, London, San Francisco and Charlotte. We are pleased to provide them with a diverse global platform from which to operate and further grow their practices.”
Fuller brings to King & Spalding considerable experience in both leveraged and investment-grade financings in the healthcare, industrial growth, media, telecommunications and aerospace and defense sectors.
Gatrell works with banks, commercial financing companies, institutional investors and leasing companies on corporate loan facilities, acquisition, real estate and project finance, asset-based lending and syndicated credit facilities.
Lovelace focuses on commercial lending, representing banks, arrangers and other institutions in syndicated and bilateral credit facilities.
