Greenberg Traurig LLP, a leading international law firm with over 1,800 lawyers, announced the addition of Mona Mehta Stone, a former partner at Locke Lord Bissell & Liddell, to its Phoenix office. Stone will join the Labor and Employment and Litigation practices as Of Counsel.

Verbin, the managing shareholder of Greenberg Traurig’s Phoenix office, said that the firm is pleased to have Stone in their team. “We are delighted to add someone of Mona’s stature to our firm. She is a first-rate litigator whose energy and experience will complement the labor and employment and litigation services we offer our clients.”
Stone said that she is grateful to the opportunity and trust given by the Florida-based firm. She added that she is excited to share her expertise particularly in the areas of labor and employment, business and commercial litigation, antitrust, and insurance defense. “I am truly delighted and honored to be part of the Greenberg Traurig team and look forward to continued success here. Stone’s previous work includes drafting, negotiating and litigating corporate and service contracts, writing articles regarding best practices for employers and counseling companies on the latest industry trend on law in relation with their business operations. Stone took up Political Science at Bradley University where she finished her B.A degree. She earned her J.D. at Tulane University Law School.
