UK law Firm Emmetts announced that it is planning to add 100 new positions this year. The firm, which operates three offices in the UK, will hire 60 new lawyers and 40 support staff. The move is based on a surge in negligence claims against companies, according to the firm.
Emmetts was founded in 2004 by husband and wife Richard and Lindsay Emmett. Originally operating out of their home in Preston, the firm has grown rapidly and now takes in around 1000 new clients per month from three offices in Preston, Longridge and London.
