Wal-Mart employees have lost their battle against Wal-Mart in a suit filed by thousands of women that Wal-Mart discriminated against them. They stated in the lawsuit that Wal-Mart denied them raises and opportunities for promotions based on their gender. Lawyers cited that there were too many people filing against Wal-Mart and that practices at the individual stores were so variant that it was difficult for the Supreme Court judge to make a ruling in favor of the women. Most likely, the women will file civil suits individually against Wal-Mart.
