The transmitting of explicit photos of themselves or others by minors which is otherwise known as “sexting” will be brought to an end by a law which will make the teenagers understand the legal consequences of doing so as well as the non-legal consequences surrounding it. Already the Senate version of the Law is favored 5-0 by the Laws and Public Safety Committee and has been referred to Senate Budget and Appropriations Committee. It is to be noted that teenagers who send out such messages do not have a criminal mindset but do so under psychological influence.
