Nafissatou Diallo, the hotel maid who has accused Dominique Strauss-Kahn of sexual assault, met with prosecutors for seven hours on Wednesday. A set of earlier meetings between Diallo and prosecutors, who were discussing whether to press charges against the former head of the International Monetary Fund, had ended when Diallo’s attorney, Kenneth Thompson, accused Cyrus Vance, Manhattan District Attorney, of “abandoning” Diallo. Prosecutors were concerned that Diallo might not be sufficiently credible to pursue the case.
