In 2000, the Texas Board of Law Examiners confirmed that Kastner lacked the moral character required for admission to practice law. In 2006, the 4th Court wrote, Kastner sued the law firm and the lawyers for legal malpractice and breach of fiduciary duty. In 2008 Kastner filed his second suit but the court dismissed his appeal and later he filed a third suit. The court granted the motion filed by the defendants which declared him a vexatious litigant. The court dismissed Kastner’s suit with prejudice and now he awaits a case pending at Austin’s 3rd Court of Appeals.
