NRA and gun dealers may sue over new ATF regulations

A new requirement for gun buyers in Arizona, California, New Mexico and Texas may require purchasers to report guns bought, particularly in bulk amounts. Enacted by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF), the bulk gun sales reporting requirement has the NRA and gun dealers furious enough to sue. The new requirement will reportedly infringe on consumer rights, create unnecessary paperwork for ATF employees and goes beyond the boundaries set by Congress. Who is right is still unclear.
