Companies recruit from college campuses for their in-house positions

Companies have started hiring from law schools directly for their legal departments instead of relying on law firms for expensive law firm associates who have no real world experience. Law firms charge companies by the hour for these lawyers and companies have come to the view that it is cheaper and better if they themselves hire lawyers from college campuses and train them internally. And even thought the pay is lower than equivalent positions in law firms, students are increasingly amenable to the idea of working in-house.
