The U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Mississippi is allowing a a lawsuit which challenges the new healthcare ref0rm law on constitutional grounds. The state’s Lt.Gov. Phil Bryant is among the plaintiffs, although he is doing it as a private citizen. The main argument being used against the healthcare law is that this gives Congress unlimited power over the lives of citizens and unnecessary regulation of their private affairs.
